You may have noticed a lot more green around town in the last few months. That would be thanks to the new home health services company in town, Kindred Home Care. You may have seen one of their “Kindred Green” brochures or flyers, or noticed their new sign as you head down the hill on Fort Road.

That snazzy sign sits alongside Eva Boone’s house, because Eva is Kindred Home Care’s regional manager for Victoria County. Eva’s husband, Leigh, is very handy and made the beautiful sign for the business. Eva is mother to three active boys, Declan, Rush and Kade (and one very large dog) and she’s lived in Victoria County most of her life. She graduated from Southern Victoria High School and is trained as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). You may have seen her around the Perth-Andover Hospital, where she works the occasional shift, in addition to managing the Victoria County region for Kindred.

Eva is very active in the community. She volunteers with the Southern Victoria Minor Basketball Association, the Larlee Creek Hullabaloo Executive, and the Perth-Andover Recreation Commission.

Kindred Home Care is a New Brunswick owned and operated company that provides light housekeeping and personal care services, hospital sitting, respite care and much more. With over 200 highly trained employees, Kindred is the third largest home care company in the province, and has been helping seniors and families throughout New Brunswick since 1986. They have been providing services in Victoria County (maybe even to someone you know) for the past six months.

If you or someone you care about needs extra help at home, Kindred Home Care goes the extra mile to meet your specific needs. Kindred finds the right caregiver to come to your home (and that same person keeps coming), plus their state-of-the-art management system ensures they are on time, every time. If you call Kindred to talk about their services or to set up a free in-home assessment, you’ll be speaking with someone right in this community – Eva. Eva can even help you through the process of applying for financial assistance with the NB Department of Social Development.
Eva would love to talk to you about Kindred, so feel free to give her a call at 426-0433.
