Tigger
Tigger…AKA Big Tig!
Hi! My name is Tigger. I live at the animal shelter. I am 5 months old. I am Angie’s favorite kitten. I help her take care of all the animals. She calls me Big Tig. She loves me best. But she said I can’t tell the other kittens because it might hurt their feelings (I said I wouldn’t tell cause the other kittens can’t really help it that they aren’t as wonderful as me) and Angie says I have to be very nice to my shelter brothers and sisters…..so I told Angie I would write a stories about my shelter family, so that maybe they can find someone to love them as much as Angie loves me (even tho they aren’t as handsome)….Angie said it was a great idea and I could, but I had to talk about the dogs too, I think dogs are sooo yucky, and I was mad and sulky and I hate dogs!!!…but Angie said they are family (even if they are dogs) and that I have want the best for them too…..so I said I would, for Angie, not those gross dogs….she scratches me behind the ear and I just melt!

So this is my story….

Elvis is a dog. He is big. He looks like he smells yucky…Angie says he doesn’t, that he is very soft and loves to be petted….He chews with his mouth open. It’s sooo gross…..Angie says he eats like all dogs and it isn’t gross……He licks stuff. It’s even grosser!!!….Angie says he is loveable and wonderful and will make some one a handsome dog and those are good Elvis kisses. (I think she just tells him that. I can’t see it.)….He lets Angie tie ropes to his neck and then lets her walk him around!!!!…. Angie says that it is a leash not a rope, and that Elvis loves going for walks and is great for strolling along smelling flowers….( Seems kinda ‘low brow’ to us kittens, we wouldn’t be caught dead walking around on a rope)….. We were talking last night and we think he looks at us funny sometimes, and he wants to eat us and pick his teeth with our bones!!!! ….Angie says he does not want to do any such thing, she says he actually likes cats and just wants to look at us. She says he is friendly with everyone. She says we shouldn’t puff up and spit at him, that it makes us look uncivilized. (I saw him try to sniff that other yucky dog’s butt, so there is no way us cats are the uncivilized ones)…..Either way, we don’t want him to look at us anymore, even if he isn’t a kitten eating monster, and we want someone to come take him home…forever….like, come tomorrow.

And Angie said I couldn’t be nice about a stupid dog…I showed her…
