NB…The Garbage Province
I’d planned to publish these photos ASAP, and as The Old man in the Hat just wrote about in this very issue of the Blackfly, I figured it was time to share some of Sharon’s appalling photos!
Sharon wrote: It is truly sad what is happening, and I wonder what can be done about this problem. The sports teams at SV are always looking for ways to make money, perhaps these students could organize a clean up crew and recycle the bottles.
It would be such an eye-opening experience for them. Perhaps some students are taking courses in environmental studies. What a great way to experience first- hand the harm we are doing to our environment, and the harm it is doing as we promote NB as “The Picture Province.”
