Math Lessons With Tigger
Big Tig here, .
The other day I was trying to teach Angie to count. It seems this is going to be a long term goal, for both of us. Angie says it’s my method, I am pretty sure it’s my student. This is how it goes…. When Angie is sitting down at the computer, I know that is her way of telling me she is ready to learn. So I immediately jump up and lay down on the keyboard so she knows I am ready too. Sometimes she gets stubborn and puts me down on the floor, but I jump right back up. I keep laying on the keyboard because in the end it is for her own good. Once she accepts that it’s “Learning with Tig” time, we can begin….It’s pretty easy – I think of a number in my head, and that is exactly how many times Angie is supposed to stroke my belly. No more; no less. She rarely gets it right. Like a Tig said, it’s a work in progress…The other day the number was 4. After several abysmal attempts on Angie’s part, I knew she was ready to give up when she asked if I wanted to meet the free chocolates at DunRoamin’. Who can say no to chocolates! Especially free chocolates! Not this Tiggy.
.
When we got there, I took a good look around. I couldn’t see or smell any of these free chocolates. But, there sat 3 very silky, smooth, velvety looking cats. Then it dawned on me, Ganong, Lindor, and Ferrero aren’t chocolates for a very deserving Big Tig to eat, they are wonderful cats ready for a deserving family! Angie thinks she is smart for tricking a Tig. You would think counting to 4 would come easier for her…
These chocolate cats have had their adoption fee paid by the cat angel, so they just need a family to come pick their favorite chocolate and take them home fur-ever. Go to DunRoamin’ and follow the steps to the sweetest cats around! And that lucky family can send Tig a small thank you package of chocolate, real chocolate. Dipped mice preferably. Send it in care of Omen, so I don’t have to share with Angie. No treats for her until she can count!
Ciao,
Tiggy
