Tiggy & The Siren…
Big Tig Here.
I was hanging out at Dunroamin’ when this cat darted by and bounced off the couch and ran back out. Omen told me her name is Siren and to watch out for her; she’s not so friendly to other cats. I gotta say, that made a Tig curious. A cat that doesn’t like other cats? How can this be? It just boggled a Tig. I figured Omen was pulling Tiggy’s tail, until I tried to talk to her.
I strolled over and said “Hi! I’m Bigger Tigger, but my friends call me Tiggy.” She leaped and hissed and climbed the cat tree and jumped to the rocking chair, and told a Tig to be careful of White Tiger claws. I was a surprised Tig. I said what white tiger? I’m an orange tigger with 2 g’s and Angie keeps my nails trimmed pretty good…she said no, she was the white tiger. She said we should all embrace our inner tiger. A solitary beast that needs no other creature for companionship. Queen of the Jungle. Huntress of All. I was about to give up and agree with Omen that she just doesn’t like cats, when she laughed. She was playing! A Tig gets that. Sometimes I am Julius Tigger, lord and master over all of Rome. Peel me a grape! (Angie never does, she just snorts and walks away.) Sometimes I am a mummified cat from ancient Egypt (Angie says that isn’t what toilet paper is for, I don’t know what else it could be for?…), it’s so much fun to play cat games.
I asked Siren if I could play with her too, and she said sure! After just a few minutes of cat and mouse (I was the mouse) a Tig realized that too many hours laying in the sun haven’t left me as lean and mean a Tiggy machine as I once was (I had to go rest quietly by the water dish and hope I hadn’t blew a gasket. She is fast and busy and all that running didn’t make her the least bit tired. She told me she would be the antelope and I could be the lion, but I needed a quick 20 hour nap first. She understood and said she would go play wolverine with the volunteers. Angie had to carry me to the car. I think they should have called her Energizer’, I was sore in places I didn’t know cats had! But she is my new buddy, no matter how many circles she can run around me, and I really want her to get the best Christmas present of all. Her very own Christmas tree to climb.
Go to Dunroamin’ and follow the steps to Siren – The White Tiger of Genpop Jungle. You will have wonderful cat stories to tell for years!
Ciao, Tig.
