Stephanie Kelley The annual Senior’s Christmas Dinner at the River Valley Civic Centre was a wonderful meal enjoyed by all who attended!The tables were set for 115 guests and the Wednesday Evening Fiddlers provided the music as local Seniors enjoyed a fabulous traditional turkey dinner on November 28.
This sit down meal was catered by Carol Andersen and a team of enthusiastic volunteers dished up the plates and provided table service for the guests.
This dinner featured roast turkey with all the trimmings, including Carol’s famous sticky buns with apple crumble for dessert!
Folks who wished to attend the feast were asked for a small donation and to bring one non-perishable food item to donate to the Food Bank.
Lee Longstaff, Carol Andersen, Ray Andersen and Glenna Ferguson dished up the fabulous meal that Carol cooked from scratch!
Justine, Christina, Tasha, Malcom, Dierdre and Debbie provided the excellent sit-down service at the Annual Turkey Dinner for Seniors at the River Valley Civic Centre on November 28th!
