Loaves And Fishes
She’s my four-leaf clover
My loving lucky-charm
The mad-stone bracelet that I wear
For fortune on my arm,
She’s my lovely Lady Luck
My recipe for success
My “number” and my “color”
My “loaves and fishes” to excess,
She’s my “Open Sesame!”
My red enchanted cap
The talisman around my neck
With a lucky leather strap,
She’s my fortune cookie
And my Aladdin’s lamp
My snake-eye dice, my long shot
In happenstance – my champ,
She’s my rabbit’s foot, my horseshoe
Just her smile can cast a spell
My big break, my two-tailed coin
My wishbone and wishing well,
My one and only good-luck piece
The “chance” that guides my fate
My mascot and my magic wand
My amulet – my mate,
And, she’s my tree top angel
The “elf” I hold so dear
My comfort and my ‘Peace On Earth’
My Santa Claus … my Christmas cheer!
