Walking the Plank & Taking the Plunge!
Jeffrey and Rhonda Pelkey tied the knot in a fun fashion by throwing themselves a Pirate themed party.
They took the plunge by walking the plank together!
They’d both been married before, with the whole traditional panoply of tuxes and dresses and brides maids and all that.
This time around, they decided, they wanted this marriage to each other to reflect their mutual love, but also be a relaxed and wonderful party for all!
Some weddings are so over the top that they become high stress events for everyone with all the emphasis on perfection. Wedding statistics state that the average wedding these days in North America costs around $25,000!
Rhonda and Jeff wanted to dress up for sure, but not in a tux and a wedding train with all the bells and whistles with rented tuxes and bridesmaid dresses that will never be worn again, no matter what the bride promises!
They, and their wedding guests, all dressed as pirates! They said their vows as they walked the plank together. The ceremony was held on the Tobique Headpond with a big barbecue bash afterwards.
