Grade 8 Travel Club Montreal Adventure

41 fourteen year olds made the journey this year, accompanied by 4 adults, who we certainly hope were not too traumatized by the experience!
All kidding aside, the trip was a complete success and a grand time was had by all
.
The bus left at 5:30 AM Sunday morning, and the fun started as soon as it arrived in Montreal. The group went immediately to the Aquadome for a swimfest.
It was a terrific social experience for all the students, with city tours, meals at various restaurants, a night at the Cirque Du Soleil, (which my nephew reports was “totally awesome”) a visit to the Biodome and Montreal Tower Observatory and a Disco Cruise on the Cavalier Maxim!
The travel club members began planning this trip while they were still in the 7th grade. In order to participate in this adventure, kids signed up at the beginning of the year and had to be on good behavior all year as they are ambassadors for our community.
We wish them many future fantastic adventures as they head into High School this fall!
