Brooklyn Perley and Paige Murphy collected close to $400 during their bottle drive that will be used to help fund the Cross Country Ski Program next winter.
The Jackrabbit Program is a fun way for kids to learn basic cross country ski skills while providing an opportunity to ski and socialize with their friends and parents.
The program also helps kids develop confidence, outdoor winter safety skills and to build over-all motor skills and coordination.
Next winter will be the third year for the Perth-Andover Jackrabbit Program. We have a beautiful system of ski trails in Carlingford that take skiers on a winter wonderland journey through our local forest.
The Jackrabbit program is for kids aged 7-14 and parents are always welcome to join the outings. The program is free to join, but you will need to purchase or rent equipment.
The P-A Recreation Department has all the equipment needed available to rent for the season. Please call 273-4845 to sign up now or learn more details about this fantastic program!
