Don’t you just hate it when you lose stuff, especially favourite glove in the middle of winter? And, this time of year gloves seem to want to jump out of our pockets, fall out of our cars…or maybe there are inter-dimensional glove pixies playing with our minds by swiping one glove at a time. (They’d be related to the Sock Pixies responsible for missing socks)

I’ve had some really nice gloves in my life, gloves that fit well, were made of soft and buttery leather…and it seems that the better I liked a pair of gloves, the more likely it was that ONE glove, and one only, would somehow vanish from my life…. Ah, how I miss thee still.

As I was delivering the last issue of the Blackfly around the village I started noticing all the rescued gloves that various shops around town have collected.

I took a couple of pics… if you see your missing gloves, they want to come home!

And this spawned an idea…. If you have lost or found something, whether it be animal, vegetable, mineral … or glove or mitten…let us know at the Blackfly and we’ll post a description & photo (if you send one!) for free to try to reunite the lost item with its owner!

Just send us an email or give us a call…
