During World War II a call was sent out for help, the allies asked for a special group of individuals that could fill some very specific requirements we so desperately needed to help win the war. We required that this group show total loyalty to those they serve, to obey every command without hesitation, to willingly give their lives to complete their missions. This group was asked to do things that no one had been able to do. To cross battle lines day after day, to lead their troops with an unmatched courage, to see ambushes where no one else could.

They needed to be able to scout and track the enemy with little to no information. They must always lead the charge and keep their men safe. This group needed to be able to crawl across “no mans land” to deliver messages on one day, and then crawl through the battle field carrying out the wounded the next. This group needed to never fail in what was asked of them. Never waver. Be completely courageous and totally faithful to their men and their mission. Some 800 answered this call. They left their families, homes and loved ones to serve their country.

This group of heroes never failed in what was demanded of them. They earned 40 purple hearts for being wounded or killed in action. 25 of these amazing heroes lost their lives liberating Guam, doing everything that was asked of them. There are many reports that state when these individuals were protecting their units, these units were never once infiltrated or ambushed by the enemy. Many survivors reported that the only time they felt safe enough to sleep was when one of these soldiers was watching over them.

One famous report embodies this. The report of a fellow named Kurt. Kurt was a scout on the front lines, when on July 22, 1944, he spotted a defense line outpost of the enemy. Due to his quick response and ability to detect what no one else could, he is credited with saving 250 marines from an ambush attack that would have resulted in a total loss of life. Unfortunately, Kurt died that day in the arms of a man who would later erect a bronze statue of Kurt to honour and remember him, and the others just like him, that gave their lives saving so many…..Kurt’s collar carries the words “Always Faithful”……

This group of individuals has a name – Doberman Pinscher Dogs

These are the same dogs now considered violent, aggressive, crazy…perfect examples of vicious dogs…. Kid killers/attackers even….. Scary dogs nightmares are made of…. The kind of dogs that towns should create by-laws against….It’s even been said that this breed of dog has no place in our world……

How soon we forgot……..
