This little artisans cooperative was opened last year to provide an outlet for the works of local crafters and artisans.
Buying local is vital to support our small businesses and buying locally made crafts and goods is a great way to support your community!

The Perth-Andover Arts & Crafts Centre now has art, crafts, needlework and music from more than 25 local artists.
Music by local musicians include CDs by blues artist Matt Andersen. The most thoughtful gifts to give or receive have heart, and aren’t mass produced.

Here at the centre you can find beautiful paintings and sketches by a number of local artists in a variety of mediums.

Need a special greeting card for an occasion? There is a rack with an assortment of hand made greeting cards on display. Support a local artisan instead of a corporation and give a hand made card!

There are all kinds of fabric and yarn crafts available such as socks, slippers, really pretty aprons, lobster bibs, quilts, afghans, scarves and purses. And more!

All kinds of hand crafted goods are available at the centre!

Doris showed me a small cell phone bag she had made. She got the idea from seeing a story on the news about a young woman who’d gotten cancer and suspected it was from always carrying her cell phone in her shirt pocket.
Research continues to discover that cell phones emit harmful radiation and people should not carry their cell phones next to their bodies or sleep with them next to their heads.

A back room now houses a small, permanent yard sale. Called “déjà vu”, this is a collection of yard sale type goodies. There are ornaments, books, movies, some household items and so on. When I stopped in there was a collection of vintage 60’s vinyl record albums…I spotted Carole King’ album ‘Tapestry”, The Fifth Dimension, Some Willie Nelson and so on. It was a fun blast from the past!
If you’d like to support the cause you are welcome to donate your useable yard sale items to the store.

If you are an artist looking for a place to display and sell your work stop into the centre at 756 Perth Main Street.
And if you are looking for a unique gift you might just find the perfect item here!
