Will hemp & medical marijuana come to tobique first nation?

Tobique First Nation is stepping boldly into the future to help their community, and the world, by exploring ways to begin medical marijuana and hemp production.

Surrounding communities should give this endeavour their full backing and endorsement as the benefits of local hemp production will be enormous.

Band Council member Paul Pyres along with two other band members recently visited Colorado, which has medical marijuana dispensaries, to discuss ways and means to build a medical marijuana research facility at Tobique First Nation.

They would also like to begin a commercial hemp growing enterprise, for food and fibre.

The band has arranged for Dr Bob Melamedes, one of the top medical marijuana researchers in the world, to visit Tobique First Nation.

Dr Melamedes has been a hemp activist for years, as he has seen first hand the miraculous healing effects cannabis and its extracts have on many chronic diseases, including cancer.

Cannabis kills cancer cells in many instances, without harming surrounding nerves and tissues.

The US government knew in 1974 that THC, the active ingredient in cannabis, inhibits cancer tumours.

Experiments with mice and rats found that when malignant brain tumours were injected with THC the tumours shrank or disappeared entirely, while at the same time the cannabanoids protected the surrounding tissue.
Our so-called “War on Cancer” is a complete farce….current “legal” therapies are toxic and destructive to our bodies. But it makes us valuable sources of endless income to Big Pharma, who do not want to see cannabis legalized or made readily available.

Healthy people don’t need toxic and expensive drugs and treatments! Don’t let those people have anything that leads to true health!

Cannabis and hemp was made illegal by the machinations of a few rich and powerful men in the 1930’s who owned petroleum, chemical, and pulp wood industries. They did not want a product as universally useful and as easy to grow as hemp available to people.

75 years later we are still suffering from the blowback of their selfish and psychopathic manipulations of the government and people’s minds.

Local hemp production will be a boon to our economy, put us on the map, and provide jobs in all sectors. Support this initiative of Tobique First Nation! Let’s bring prosperity and progress to our communities.
